The magnetic Shá Summerlin is a business woman and mother to three beautiful children: LaQuin 24, ArJaela 20, and Qian 7.
Sha' is what you call a trailblazer. And, perseverance is her middle name. As one of her longtime business associates put it, "Sha' is just one of those people who-no matter where they reside in the world-is going to make her mark. And you will definitely know who she is before she leaves."
The 22 year beauty industry veteran and former professional R&B vocalist has gone from teen mom statistic to teen wife to single mom to entrepreneur. She created a boutique-size, creative artist agency, PRIMP Agency, serving the fashion and entertainment industries from the most unsuspecting of places: Amish Country USA (Lancaster/York, Pennsylvania). Even more unsuspected, she relocated her business, and now successfully operates PRIMP Agency, as well as, a thriving 6 chair salon from her hometown in LA...Lower Alabama, that is.
Shá has served as director of VIP Hair and Makeup at the 2013 Presidential Ambassador's Inaugural Ball, has staffed and led 100+ artists for Mercedes Benz New York Fashion week, and has been called to primp internationally known, high profile history makers from Atlanta for all major US news outlets.
Some amazing entertainers and personalities have benefitted from her PRIMP Agency services such as Syleena Johnson, Cynthia Bailey, Elise Neal, Nigeria's Osas Ighodaro Ajibade, Miss Black USA '10-'15, Nicole Ari Parker and Boris Kodjoe.
With style, innovation, and unmatched professionalism, Sha' is known to step on set, take a problematic circus (so to speak) and turn it into a drama-free, showstopping cirque du soleil! Calmly coordinating and directing the right team of professionals for the situation at hand...with a smile. Shá has dedicated herself to serving others with a clear understanding of her purpose: to entertain and inspire. And it has shown throughout her inspiring career trajectory and work ethic.
"I take great pride in my work and my artists' work. I enjoy what I do and have immense fun doing it, but when it's time to work...we work." ~Shá Summerlin, PRIMP Agency
